British singer-songwriter Freya Skye has hit a pair of significant milestones with her single “silent treatment,” landing in the Top 10 on Mediabase’s Top 40 US Pop Radio chart while simultaneously making her debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 98. Hollywood Records announced the news Monday, and it’s the kind of chart story worth paying attention to.

Skye is sharing that Top 10 with some heavy company: Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Kehlani, Tate McRae, Olivia Dean, Raye, and Sombr. The label is noting she’s among the youngest artists to crack the Top 10 at Top 40 radio since Olivia Rodrigo did it, which is a comparison that carries real weight in terms of trajectory.

The song was co-written by Skye alongside Max Margolis and Sophie Alexandra Tweed-Simmons, and it comes off her debut EP “stardust,” which has logged over 300 million global streams since its February release. Her overall catalog sits north of 2.1 billion streams.

On the live side, Skye is launching a YouTube concert video series today called “Freya Skye Stars Align Tour: Live from London,” with the first episode featuring “silent treatment” premiering at 4:00 PM EDT. The footage was captured during her recently wrapped sold-out headline run, including a show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town.

The 18-year-old from Buckinghamshire got her start at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where she was selected to represent the United Kingdom and subsequently caught the attention of Disney, signing with Hollywood Records. She went on to take a key role in “Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires” in 2025 and toured last fall as part of the Descendants/ZOMBIES: Worlds Collide Tour, playing Madison Square Garden and the Crypto.com Arena.

A second leg of the Stars Align Tour is set for this summer, expanding into Australia and Europe alongside new U.S. markets, several of which have already sold out. Tour details are at freyaskye.com.
