2 mins readThe day is finally here! Regretting You, the new movie starring Mckenna Grace, has officially landed in theaters.
As you know, we follow Mckenna’s career closely, and this is a big one for her. Not only does she star as 17-year-old Clara, but she also takes on the role of Executive Producer for the film.
Based on the popular Colleen Hoover novel, the story kicks off when a family tragedy uncovers some major secrets, putting Clara in direct conflict with her mom (played by Get Out‘s Allison Williams).
Mckenna spoke about the film’s core themes: “The whole movie is about grief and regret and choices that we should or should not have made… I think that everybody’s just trying to do what they think is right in this movie, and just trying to live.”
Recent press from the premiere is also highlighting Mckenna’s performance as a major standout. Critics are calling her “the film’s saving grace” and praising her “impressively mature performance” as a teen dealing with complex family drama.
It’s always great to see Mckenna tackle a big, dramatic role, and this one is definitely getting people talking.
