Cookie Monster just popped up with the stars of “KPop Demon Hunters” in a new social clip that’s been making the rounds today. In the video, the Huntr/x trio (Audrey Nuna, Ejae, and Rei Ami) welcome him, only for our blue friend to admit he thought they were “K-Pop Cookie Hunters.” The bit ends with Cookie Monster belting a snack-themed riff on the breakout track “Golden,” turning the film’s earworm into an ode to, of course, cookies.

The collaboration is timed to two things fans will care about. First, “KPop Demon Hunters” is currently a major Netflix hit with Huntr/x’s “Golden” going viral across platforms. Second, “Sesame Street” is headed to Netflix, with posts promoting the clip teasing the show’s arrival this November.

In the spot, the singers also introduce Cookie Monster to ramyeon, keeping the gag squarely in the film’s pop performance world rather than monster-fighting lore. It’s a quick, family-friendly crossover that pairs a viral soundtrack with one of television’s most recognizable characters.

For background, “KPop Demon Hunters” follows the fictional girl group Huntr/x as they juggle global stages with secret monster-busting duties. The film has drawn a passionate online following since its summer release, with “Golden” even reaching No. 1 in the U.S., a milestone for a K-pop girl group, real or fictional.

The new Cookie Monster cameo arrives as Netflix and Sesame Workshop move “Sesame Street” to Netflix under a wide-reaching deal announced earlier this year, which is why you’re seeing the blue icon pop up in more Netflix-branded social moments.

If you missed it, the Cookie Monster and Huntr/x clip is circulating across Netflix’s social feeds and short-video platforms today. It’s exactly the kind of feel-good, share-worthy moment that blends nostalgic kids’ TV with one of the year’s biggest animated music stories.
