Madeleine McGraw Adds Supernatural Thriller ‘SuperUnknown’ to Her Growing Slate
Madeleine McGraw has landed her next major role, signing on to star in the coming-of-age supernatural thriller, SuperUnknown. For readers of Trevor Decker News who have followed the careers of both Madeleine and her sister Violet, this news is another exciting announcement in what has already been a busy year for the talented duo.
The film follows a high school student who uncovers a dark secret: his parents have been hiding a supernatural creature. When the being escapes, it’s up to him and his bandmates to confront the monster and save their town. According to the initial report from Deadline, the project will be directed by The Brothers Riedell. McGraw will star in an unannounced role and also serves as an executive producer. Production is scheduled to begin this fall.
This new project adds another credit to McGraw’s already packed schedule. She is set to reprise her role as the fan-favorite Gwen in The Black Phone 2, which hits theaters on October 17. Her sister, Violet, is also making waves, recently starring in M3GAN 2.0 and having just joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the recently released film, Thunderbolts. The sisters are also set to collaborate on an action-packed holiday movie, High Stakes Holiday, which they will both star in and produce.
