Sofia Rosinsky is back with another exciting project! Fans who followed her standout performances in Paper Girls and Death and Other Details will be thrilled to see her take on a new role in Peacock’s upcoming comedy series The Miniature Wife. Sofia has joined the show as a series regular, and the concept alone promises plenty of intriguing moments.
The series, based on a short story by Manuel Gonzalez, follows Lindy (Elizabeth Banks) and Les (Matthew Macfadyen), a married couple whose relationship takes a wildly unexpected turn after a technological accident. The show dives into themes of power and balance in relationships, wrapped in a clever and comedic package.
Sofia joins a talented cast that includes Banks and Macfadyen, who also serve as executive producers, as well as Zoe Lister-Jones (Slip, Beau is Afraid). Behind the scenes, the show is created and run by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner, with Greg Mottola (Superbad) directing the first two episodes.
Sofia continues to impress with her diverse roles, from her recent turn as Yeva in Hulu’s Death and Other Details to her earlier appearances in Young Sheldon and Disney Channel’s Fast Layne. She’s quickly becoming a familiar and reliable name for projects that combine compelling stories with memorable characters.
With The Miniature Wife, Sofia is once again proving that she’s one to watch. The series is shaping up to be a unique and entertaining addition to Peacock’s lineup, and fans won’t want to miss seeing Sofia in this exciting new role.
