The docuseries is being produced by WildBrain, the company that owns the “Degrassi” franchise, along with the production company Peacock Alley.

Originally created in 1979 by Linda Schuyler and Kit Hood, “Degrassi” has been a seminal show for multiple generations of teenagers. The show has also been a career launchpad for many performers who appeared on it early on, like recording artist Drake and actors Nina Dobrev, Shenae Grimes, and others.
