NOTE: This article is 7 months old and may not include the most recent information.

This Sunday, October 1st, football fans and Disney enthusiasts alike can enjoy a completely unique viewing experience with the first ever “Toy Story Funday Football” alternate broadcast. This innovative telecast by Pixar and ESPN brings the Jaguars vs. Falcons matchup to animated life inside Andy’s bedroom with all your beloved Toy Story characters.

Through the magic of animation and motion capture technology, the real-time action unfolding on the field in London will be translated into the fun world of Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Bo Peep, and the whole gang. NFL Next Gen Stats allows Pixar animators to precisely track player movements and seamlessly integrate them into the animated realm.

Announcers Drew Carter, Booger McFarland, and 12-year-old Pepper Persley will also be animated as they call the on-field action and interact with fan favorites like Rex, Slinky Dog, Forky and more. Kids and families are sure to love seeing their favorite toys creatively react to big plays, touchdowns, and hard hits.

An exciting halftime show is also planned featuring Toy Story 4’s Duke Caboom attempting a death-defying motorcycle jump over double-decker buses. It’s the perfect high-octane entertainment to keep viewers engaged.

As the first ever sports broadcast of its kind, Toy Story Funday Football offers an innovative crossover between animation and live-action sports. Don’t miss the chance to experience the Jaguars vs Falcons in a whole new way with your beloved toy pals. Tune into ESPN+ or Disney+ this Sunday, October 1st at 9:30 am ET for football fun that’s truly “To Infinity and Beyond!”
