Ancient Evil Rises in New ‘Pet Sematary’ Prequel Trailer

Get ready for a new chapter in Stephen King’s classic horror story when ‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines’ premieres on Paramount+ this October.

This prequel film takes us back to 1969 in the small town of Ludlow, Maine, to explore the haunting origin story of young Jud Crandall. Played by Jackson White, Jud dreams of escaping Ludlow, but soon uncovers the town’s dark secrets after a run-in with an ancient evil.

With a cast including Pam Grier and David Duchovny, plus a promising crew behind the camera, ‘Bloodlines’ looks set to deliver chills and thrills aplenty. The newly dropped trailer teases the movie’s super creepy vibe and intense R-rated scares.

Horror fans can catch the U.S. premiere on Paramount+ on October 6, with international markets following on October 7. It’s the latest in the ‘Pet Sematary’ franchise, following the original 1989 film, 1992 sequel, and 2019 remake.
