The trailer for “The Burial” has been released, offering a sneak peek into a story rooted in true events documented by Jonathan Harr in The New Yorker. This unfolding tale explores the complex dealings of funeral homeowner Jeremiah O’Keefe and the efforts of attorney Willie E. Gary to save a save a family business.
Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie Foxx step into the roles of O’Keefe and Gary, respectively. The film also showcases performances by Jurnee Smollett, Mamoudou Athie, Pamela Reed, Bill Camp, and Alan Ruck.
Under the direction of Maggie Betts, who co-wrote the screenplay with Doug Wright, the film is crafted with the support of a proficient production team, including Celine Rattray, Trudie Styler, and Jamie Foxx, among others.
Rated ‘R’, “The Burial” is slated for a theatrical release on October 6, followed by a release on Prime Video starting October 13.
