Super Bowl Trailer Alert: Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors Face Off in “Creed III”

The highly anticipated “Creed III” has finally released its Super Bowl trailer, and it’s sure to leave fans on the edge of their seats. The latest installment in the popular boxing franchise is set to hit theaters on March 3rd, with a special Imax Live Premiere Event taking place on February 27th. The movie’s star-director-producer, Michael B. Jordan, will be joined by the cast to celebrate his directorial debut at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The premiere red carpet event will be streamed live to 50 theaters across North America, followed by an advance screening of the film.

Adonis Creed, played by Jordan, has been thriving in both his career and personal life after dominating the boxing world. But when a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), re-emerges after serving a long prison sentence, he is eager to prove that he deserves a shot in the ring. The face-off between the two former friends is more than just a fight; Adonis must put his future on the line to settle the score with Damian, who has nothing to lose.

Although Sylvester Stallone will not appear in “Creed III,” Phylicia Rashad, Tessa Thompson, and Florian Munteanu will rejoin Jordan on screen. The movie’s script was written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin, based on their story co-written by Ryan Coogler.

“Creed III” is a Chartoff-Winkler Production, with producers including Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, Jonathan Glickman, Jordan, and Ryan Coogler in association with Proximity Media. Executive producers include Adam Rosenberg, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler. The first two “Creed” movies have grossed a total of $387.7 million worldwide.
