Former AGT Contestant Evie Clair Shares Heartfelt Version of ‘Away In A Manger’ as Lullaby to Unborn Child

NOTE: This article is 1 year old and may not include the most recent information.

Evie Clair, the talented former AGT contestant, has released a new video of her singing “Away In A Manger” as a lullaby to her unborn baby. Evie, who is expecting her first child, shared that she knows the baby can hear her singing “through my belly.”

This beautiful and heartfelt performance is a reminder of the special bond between a mother and her child, even before the baby is born. The lyrics of “Away In A Manger,” a beloved Christmas carol, speak to the love and protection that a mother provides: “The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head; The stars in the heavens looked down where he lay, The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay. The cattle are lowing; the poor baby wakes, But little Lord Jesus, no crying he makes.”

Evie’s soothing voice and emotive delivery bring a sense of calm and comfort to the holiday classic. It’s clear that she is singing from the heart and pouring all of her love into the performance, singing “I love thee, Lord Jesus; look down from the sky And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.”

As someone who appreciates the beauty of Christmas music, I can’t help but feel moved by Evie’s rendition of “Away In A Manger.” It’s a beautiful reminder of the power of music to connect us to our loved ones and to the holiday spirit, as the song implores us to “Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask thee to stay Close by me forever, and love me, I pray. Bless all the dear children in thy tender care, And fit us for heaven to live with thee there.”

We wish Evie and her family all the best as they prepare to welcome their new addition. Congratulations, Evie, on your pregnancy and on this beautiful performance of a holiday classic!
