The Official ‘Wednesday’ Trailer Has Arrived, Revealing Christina Ricci’s Role and Featuring Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester

NOTE: This article is 12 months old and may not include the most recent information.

Finally, the full trailer for Wednesday has arrived, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester is a highlight.

New York Comic Con attendees got their first glimpse at Christina Ricci, a veteran of the Addams Family franchise, in her role as Marilyn Thornhill in the series in a sneak peek released on Saturday.

The first eight episodes of the series, starring Jenna Ortega, will premiere on Netflix on November 23. They center on the protagonist, who has enrolled in the out-of-the-ordinary Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s struggles to “master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago” are at the heart of the story, alongside her efforts to “navigate her new and very tangled relationships of the strange and diverse student body.”
