Emma Myers Drops Exciting Hints About ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Character Growth

Fans of Netflix’s hit series Wednesday have been on edge waiting for any scoop about the show’s highly anticipated second season, and star Emma Myers just gave us a tantalizing taste of what’s to come. Speaking with Screen Rant, the actress behind the spirited werewolf Enid Sinclair shared some hints about Season 2—and it’s sounding like the Addams Family spinoff is about to level up.

Myers didn’t mince words about her feelings, admitting she’s more excited about this season than the first. “I like Season 2 better than Season 1, honestly,” she revealed. What’s got her so pumped? A combo of “cool little Easter eggs” hidden throughout the episodes and some standout character development that she thinks will hit all the right notes. “I think everybody’s characters in this next season… I think people are gonna be happy with the development,” she teased. “It’s a fun season. So I’m very excited for people to see it.”

If you caught Season 1, you know Myers’ Enid was a total standout. Her bright, bubbly energy lit up Nevermore Academy as Wednesday Addams’ roommate, and her epic werewolf transformation in the finale—rushing in to save Wednesday from the monstrous Tyler Galpin (the Hyde)—proved she’s no mere sidekick. Based on Myers’ comments, Season 2 is set to take Enid’s story even further, and we’re here for it.

Rooted in Charles Addams’ legendary Addams Family comics, Wednesday comes from creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, with Tim Burton back to direct multiple episodes this time around. The cast is stacked, with Jenna Ortega leading as Wednesday alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Luis Guzmán (Gomez), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), and a crew of Nevermore standouts like Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), and Hunter Doohan (Tyler). Season 2 ups the ante with an incredible roster of new talent, including Lady Gaga, Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, and Heather Matarazzo. (Fun fact: Lloyd’s stepping into a fresh role after playing Uncle Fester in the ‘90s Addams Family movies—a nod that’s got fans buzzing!)

Though plot details are still shrouded in mystery, Myers’ enthusiasm points to deeper dives into the ensemble’s arcs, promising rewarding growth for both familiar faces and the newcomers. With Burton’s quirky charm, a sprinkle of comedy, and that signature eerie vibe, Season 2 is shaping up to keep us glued to our screens when it drops in 2025.

Season 1 left us with plenty of loose ends—Wednesday unraveling a dark conspiracy at Nevermore, Enid tapping into her wolf side, and a cliffhanger teasing more chaos on the horizon. Now, with Myers hyping a “fun” season packed with character payoffs, the wait feels even harder. What surprises are lurking in those Easter eggs? How will Enid and the gang evolve? One thing’s for sure—this next chapter is poised to be a wild, delightful ride.

Keep checking Trevor Decker News for the latest on Wednesday Season 2 as we inch closer to its premiere. For now, it’s clear this “fun and cool” season is ready to cast its spell on us all.
