Summer H. Howell is in full Carrie White mode in a video she shared on Tuesday from back when Prime Video’s Carrie was filming: prom dress, pink tiara, and her face, neck and arms drenched in fake blood, eating dessert out of a tub under a tent on set.
The whole thing is deadpan. Howell stares straight into the camera and eats, entirely unbothered, and sells the joke at the end with a blood-covered thumbs-up. She captioned it “Lunch w Carrie. Really exciting stuff,” and added, for anyone watching her blink through the makeup, “I was unsticking my lashes, not winking at you.”
When a follower asked what she was eating, Howell kept the bit going: “some kinda dessert I think.”
Fans clearly enjoyed the throwback. The post passed 140,000 likes in its first day, and you can watch Howell’s original post on Instagram. All eight episodes of Carrie are streaming now on Prime Video.
