NBC’s Saturday Night Live opened it’s sketch comedy show with a tribute to the people of Ukraine featuring the Ukrainian chorus of New York.

The world has shown solidarity with Ukraine and its citizens as the country continues to defend itself against horrible and unjust attacks from Russian military forces.

Saturday marked the return of the popular show which had been on hiatus due to Winter Olympic coverage
