Maia Kealoha will star as Lilo Pelekai, the spirited Hawaiian girl who befriends the mischievous alien Stitch. The cast also includes Courtney B. Vance as a social worker overseeing Lilo, Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa, Amy Hill as Tūtū, and Jason Scott Lee reprising his role as David Kawena.
The film is helmed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the Oscar-nominated director of “Marcel the Shell With Shoes On,” with a screenplay penned by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright.
