The much-anticipated “Young Sheldon” spinoff, “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” is set to premiere this fall, and it’s bringing a host of familiar faces along with some fresh new talent to its cast. The spinoff, which follows the lives of Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment) as they embark on their first marriage, promises to pick up right where “Young Sheldon” left off.
New Additions to the Cast
Dougie Baldwin, known for his role in the Netflix comedy “Disjointed,” has been cast in a series regular role as Connor, Mandy’s quirky and musically gifted brother. Connor, who still lives with his parents, was originally portrayed by Joseph Apollonio in a season six episode of “Young Sheldon.” Described as a “talented oddball” who doesn’t quite fit in even within his own family, Connor’s character is set to bring a unique dynamic to the new series.
Joining Baldwin is Jessie Prez, who will play Ruben, a long-time employee at McAllister’s tire store.
