Netflix has just released a sneak peek at the latest addition to the Fear Street franchise, Fear Street: Prom Queen. Set in the 1980s, this new installment takes us back to the terror-filled halls of Shadyside High.

Fear Street: Prom Queen centers around the prom season at Shadyside High. As the popular girls vie for the crown, their campaigns take a sinister turn when an unexpected outsider is nominated for prom court. Things go from bad to worse as the girls start vanishing mysteriously, turning the class of ’88’s prom night into a nightmare.
An Ensemble Cast
The movie features a talented ensemble cast, including Fina Strazza, known for her role as KJ in Amazon’s “Paper Girls”. Strazza is joined by India Fowler (The Nevers, Insomnia), Suzanna Son (Red Rocket, The Idol), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty, Cinnamon), Ella Rubin (The Idea of You), Chris Klein (Sweet Magnolias, American Pie), Lili Taylor (Outer Range, Manhunt), and Katherine Waterston (The End We Start From, Perry Mason).
Adapting R.L. Stine’s Novel
Fear Street: Prom Queen is based on the 1992 novel of the same name by R.L. Stine, which was the 15th book in his popular teen horror series. Director Matt Palmer (Calibre) is at the helm of this adaptation, bringing Stine’s chilling story to life on screen.
