Trailer Drops for “Bluey’s” First-Ever 30-Minute Special Episode, Promising Laughter, Tears, and Star-Studded Guest Appearances

Exciting news for “Bluey” fans worldwide as the trailer for the show’s first-ever 30-minute special episode, “The Sign,” has been released. The extended episode, set to premiere globally on April 14 will be available on Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), offering viewers a delightful experience that’s four times the length of a regular “Bluey” episode.

The trailer for “The Sign” provides a sneak peek into the heartwarming and humorous adventures that await the Heeler family as they prepare for the “wedding event of the year.” The episode promises to deliver a generous serving of laughter, a sprinkle of tears, and an exciting lineup of guest voices, featuring Rove McManus, Deborah Mailman, Brendan Williams, and Joel Edgerton, all making their “Bluey” debuts.

In addition to the special episode, fans can also look forward to a brand new episode, “Ghostbasket,” premiering on April 7. This episode will see the cherished Grannies, Janet and Rita, played by Bluey and Bingo, making a comeback.

“The Sign” is the brainchild of “Bluey” creator and writer Joe Brumm, brought to life under the direction of Richard Jeffery and the production expertise of the multi-Emmy award-winning Ludo Studio. The special episode will showcase the talents of the show’s regular voice cast, including Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti as Bandit and Chilli Heeler, Patrick Brammall as Uncle Rad, Claudia O’Doherty as Frisky, Megan Washington as Calypso, Myf Warhurst as Trixie, and Rose Byrne as Aunt Brandy.

“Bluey” has become a global phenomenon, captivating audiences across the world with its endearing stories and lovable characters. Nielsen reports that “Bluey” was the second-most streamed title in the U.S. last year, accumulating an astounding 43.9 billion viewing minutes. The series has also earned critical acclaim, winning both a BAFTA and an International Emmy.

With the release of the trailer for “The Sign,” fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of this 30-minute special episode, which promises to deliver laughter, heartfelt moments, and star-studded guest appearances.
