The 26th annual Family Film and TV Awards, recognizing excellence in family-friendly entertainment, has announced its nominations across 11 categories. Originally created by legendary producer Dick Clark in 1996, the awards show will air January 27 on CBS and Paramount+ with hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila and Amanda Kloots.

A panel of experts, celebrities and readers will vote on the winners. “Restoring the event to its original essence of honoring productions that resonate with viewers of all generations is our commitment,” said executive producer David McKenzie.

This year’s nominations feature standout performances across both film and television. The TV side includes Beth Behrs of The Neighborhood, Patrick Stewart for Star Trek: Picard and Rosario Dawson’s work on the new series Ahsoka.

Several categories also recognize classic films and shows that have stood the test of time as iconic family entertainment, like E.T., Full House and Jeopardy!. Additional categories cover areas ranging from best animated feature to top game show to best movie ensemble.

With major stars and beloved titles featured, the nominations are shaping up to honor fan favorites across generations. Tune in on January 27th to see who takes home the prize for the year’s best family-friendly entertainment.
