The pups of PAW Patrol recently set a new Guinness World Record for “Most Dogs Attending a Film Screening” at a special preview event for the upcoming movie PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
On Sunday, September 24th, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Marshall and over 200 other dogs attended the screening held at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles. The event was put on by Paramount Pictures in an attempt to break the previous record of 199 dogs set back in October 2022.
Jennifer Dodge, producer of the PAW Patrol franchise, was on hand along with the PAW Patrol characters to celebrate with the 219 dogs and their families who helped set the new record. Guinness World Records official Michael Empric presented the PAW Patrol team with a certificate to make it official.
“I was so excited to adjudicate this Guinness World Records attempt for most dogs attending a film screening,” said Empric. “It’s not every day I get to enjoy an ‘Officially Amazing’ time at the movies with hundreds of furry friends. I’d like to congratulate Paramount Pictures and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie for their ‘paw-some’ new record title!”
PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie is set to hit theaters this Friday, September 29th. Readers may recognize the voice of fan favorite Mckenna Grace as Skye in the new film. The record-breaking screening was a fun way to get fans excited and celebrate the beloved Nickelodeon series before the movie comes out.
With the help of Chase, Skye, Rubble, Marshall and dog lovers everywhere, the PAW Patrol pups showed their might and proved they have what it takes to hold a Guinness World Record title. Make sure to catch PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie in theaters this weekend!
