At just 16 years old, Izzy Moreno is making waves in professional wrestling as a promising up-and-coming rookie. This talented teen just checked off a major milestone this past Saturday by competing in her first match as a pro.
Izzy first emerged on the scene back in 2015, attending WWE NXT events as an enthusiastic young fan of WWE Superstar Bayley. Her passion for women’s wrestling was evident even at her young age.
It wasn’t until age 14 that Izzy began pursuing training to become a wrestler herself at the Hybrid School of Wrestling in San Antonio, Texas. She started honing her in-ring abilities at this independent school, driven by her lifelong love of the sport.
Even as one of the youngest aspirants in women’s wrestling, Izzy persevered through early criticism of her age to make her dreams a reality. Her dedication was rewarded just this past Saturday when she made her pro debut with Mission Pro Wrestling, a promotion in Texas.
Using the ring name Izzy Moreno, this rookie talent came ready to fight. Video shows her taking down opponent Jazmin Allure with a hard-hitting knee, showcasing her burgeoning skillset. Though she lost her first match, Izzy held her own and proved she’s a rising star to watch.
At just 16, Izzy’s incredible passion and drive to succeed in wrestling is beyond her years. Her journey from devoted fan to tenacious rookie competitor is an inspiration. Expect big things from this young phenom as she gains experience and continues chasing her pro wrestling dreams. The best is yet to come!
