Fans of Stranger Things star Maya Hawke will get to see her acting chops on full display opposite her famous mother Uma Thurman in the upcoming crime thriller dark comedy “The Kill Room,” set for release on September 29, 2022.

This marks the first on-screen appearance between Thurman and Hawke, generating major buzz among fans eager to see the mother-daughter duo headline a film together. Directed by Nicol Paone, “The Kill Room” centers on an art gallery owner (Thurman) who accidentally gets entangled in a money laundering scheme with a hitman (Joe Manganiello) and his boss (Samuel L. Jackson).

Of course, the main draw is getting to watch the legendary Uma Thurman act alongside her talented daughter as she follows in her footsteps. Thurman and Hawke showcase their natural chemistry playing key figures in the criminal underworld of art dealing and money laundering.

Maya Hawke skyrocketed to fame playing fan-favorite Robin in Stranger Things. Now her dedicated fans will get to see a completely different side of her acting talent as she holds her own opposite Thurman in this comedic thriller.

“The Kill Room” offers something for everyone – the acting powerhouses of Thurman, Jackson, and Manganiello, the intrigue of a crime plot set in the corrupt art world, and the exciting on-screen pairing of breakout star Maya Hawke with her iconic mother Uma Thurman.
