Fan favorite Mckenna Grace, who has won our hearts with her stellar performances in Hollywood blockbusters like Ghostbusters Afterlife and her Emmy-nominated role in The Handmaid’s Tale, is now making her mark in the music scene with her pop-punk EP ‘Bittersweet 16’.

As many of you know, Mckenna’s talents extend beyond the silver screen. She’s an accomplished roller skater, a skill she often showcases on her social media. Recently, she dropped hints about a trip to London, sparking speculation about her next big project. Despite a challenging start to 2023 due to a spinal operation, Mckenna is now fully recovered and embracing her exciting new journey as a pop star.

Mckenna’s passion for music has always been a part of her life, even as she pursued her acting career. She’s been strumming the ukulele for five years and recently started learning the guitar. Her diverse musical tastes, which she credits to her parents, have undoubtedly influenced her unique sound.

Her debut EP ‘Bittersweet 16’, inspired by artists like Le Tigre, Alanis Morrissette, and No Doubt, has been a hit here at Trevor Decker News. Mckenna has already started looking forward to creating new music, stating that she’s grown as an artist since the release of her EP.

Mckenna’s music is a reflection of her vibrant personality and her ability to channel her emotions into her songs. She uses music as a form of therapy, allowing her to express feelings she wouldn’t usually release. Despite her non-confrontational nature, her music often contains elements of anger and frustration, which she believes helps her move past these emotions.

Her first live performance at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles was a thrilling experience for her. She described it as “terrifying, but the coolest thing I’ve ever done.” We can’t wait to see her perform live more often.

Mckenna is excited about the future and has a clear vision for her next release. She plans to explore a more personal, singer-songwriter style and delve deeper into themes of heartbreak. Knowing Mckenna, we can expect nothing less than a heartfelt and authentic musical journey.

Turning 16 and becoming a pop star as well as a major actor all in one year is quite the ride, but it seems the journey is only just beginning for Mckenna. Her EP ‘Bittersweet 16’ is out now, and we here at Trevor Decker News are eagerly awaiting her next creative endeavor.
