Disney is back to thrill us once again, this time with the upcoming family adventure film, “Haunted Mansion.” The excitement has ramped up a notch with the recent release of the movie’s trailer and poster. Mark your calendars for July 28, when this spine-tingling spectacle hits the theaters!

Jared Leto, an actor renowned for his immersive roles, stands out in the trailer as he dons the character of The Hatbox Ghost. The two-minute sneak peek encapsulates an exhilarating mix of spookiness and fun, truly living up to its label as a “frighteningly fun adventure.”

“Haunted Mansion” weaves an intriguing tale inspired by the beloved theme park attraction. The plot orbits around a woman and her son dealing with an uncanny predicament – supernatural squatters in their home. Left with no choice, they engage a quirky group of self-proclaimed spiritual experts to exorcise their home from these ethereal occupants.

Aside from Leto, the movie features a star-studded cast that’s hard to ignore. The lineup boasts industry veterans like Jamie Lee Curtis and Winona Ryder, along with Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Tiffany Haddish, LaKeith Stanfield, and Hasan Minhaj. The film’s director, Justin Simien, known for his work on “Dear White People,” and screenwriter Katie Dippold, the creative mind behind “Parks and Recreation,” add further credibility to the project.

Behind the scenes, the film is backed by a robust production team. Producers Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who made their mark with “Aladdin,” are at the helm, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman joining as executive producers.

This isn’t the first time the Haunted Mansion theme park attraction has been brought to life on the silver screen. Back in 2003, Eddie Murphy starred in a similarly named film where he played a workaholic realtor trapped in a mansion filled with ghosts. Despite lukewarm reviews, the film was a box-office hit, earning $182 million on a $90 million budget.

With its fascinating plot, high-profile cast, and thrilling trailer, “Haunted Mansion” is gearing up to be a cinematic event that promises a rollercoaster ride of frights and fun. So, buckle up and prepare for a spine-tingling journey this July 28!
