The wait is finally over! The official trailer for the much-anticipated sequel, “Dune: Part Two,” is here, and we have it for you to watch right now. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film stars an exceptional cast, with Zendaya returning to her role as Chani.
After the remarkable success of 2021’s “Dune,” the sequel brings back Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, and Josh Brolin, alongside newcomers Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, and Christopher Walken. Zendaya, celebrated for her roles in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and the series “Euphoria,” takes center stage as Chani, who joins Paul Atreides, played by Chalamet, on a quest for vengeance.
“Dune: Part Two” explores Paul Atreides’ journey as he wrestles with his love for Chani and the fate of the universe. The film will depict his efforts to prevent a catastrophic future that only he can foresee.
Villeneuve and Jon Spaihts co-wrote the screenplay, based on Herbert’s novel. The production team consists of Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Villeneuve, Tanya Lapointe, and Patrick McCormick, accompanied by an array of executive producers. Kevin J. Anderson serves as a creative consultant.
The film sees Villeneuve reuniting with his “Dune” crew, including director of photography Greig Fraser, production designer Patrice Vermette, editor Joe Walker, visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert, and costume designer Jacqueline West. Hans Zimmer returns to compose the score.
