Raegan Revord, the young actress from the hit show Young Sheldon, recently opened up about her harrowing experience of a car crash that left her struggling with PTSD and panic attacks. The 15-year-old star shared her story in an exclusive interview, revealing the challenges she faced while filming an episode just hours after the accident and the incredible support she received from her cast and crew.

The car crash occurred while Revord and her mother were on their way to the set of Young Sheldon. They were t-boned by another driver, leaving the young actress traumatized. In the interview, Revord recounts the moments after the accident, including her panic attack and desperate call to her father for help.

Despite the traumatic experience, Revord found solace in her work and the people she loves. She decided to continue filming that day, knowing that staying home would only make her dwell on the incident. The cast and crew provided a strong support system for Revord, helping her through this difficult time.

In an exclusive with Entertainment Tonight, Revord described how the crash affected her during the filming process. The particular episode required her to sit in a car for most of the scenes, which was challenging given her recent experience. She recalled moments when the sound of crashing would trigger her anxiety, but her co-star, Mckenna Grace, was by her side throughout, providing comfort and support.

Revord also shared how the crew went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and cared for. When she mentioned her love for Van Leeuwen ice cream, they promptly brought her six cartons the next day. The crew even surprised her with a much-desired haircut, despite the fact that it wasn’t part of her character’s storyline.

The young actress’s story is a testament to the importance of support and understanding during challenging times. Through her openness and vulnerability, Revord sheds light on the impact of traumatic experiences and the power of love and compassion in overcoming them.
