Noah Schnapp, the 18-year-old actor who plays Will Byers in the popular Netflix series “Stranger Things,” recently made a TikTok video where he announced he was gay. His co-star, David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on the show, expressed his support for Noah during an interview with E News.

“I’m always happy for people that are true to themselves and come out,” said David. “That was terrific.”

It’s heartening to see celebrities and public figures openly supporting LGBTQ+ individuals. Coming out can be an incredibly difficult and scary process, especially in a society where homophobia and transphobia still exist. Noah’s decision to share his sexuality publicly can be an inspiration to others who may be struggling with their own identity.

Noah’s announcement also sheds new light on his character, Will Byers, who was previously a topic of discussion among fans regarding his sexuality. While both Noah and Millie had previously stated that Will’s sexuality was up to interpretation by fans, Noah has now confirmed that Will is gay and has feelings for Mike, played by Finn Wolfhard, on the show. This revelation adds a new layer of depth to the character and further highlights the importance of LGBTQ+ representation in media.
