The ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Full Trailer Was Unveiled At D23

NOTE: This article is 1 year old and may not include the most recent information.

Taking place 29 years after the events of the original Hocus Pocus in 1993, the sequel sees the return of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy in the roles of the Sanderson sisters. Additionally starring are Sam Richardson, Doug Jones, Hannah Waddingham, Froyan Gutierrez, and Tony Hale. The stars were unable to attend D23, but they did send a video introduction to the fans.

In the sequel, three young women are tasked with stopping the Sanderson Sisters from resurrecting witchcraft in present-day Salem. The original Hocus Pocus, directed by Kenny Ortega, was not a commercial success, but it has since become a cult classic.

The second installment of Hocus Pocus is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on September 30.
