Phoebe Bridgers Appears On MSNBC As The Singer Continues To Speak Out About Abortion Rights After Roe V. Wade Ruling

NOTE: This article is 1 year old and may not include the most recent information.

Phoebe Bridgers has been very vocal on the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that overturned Roe V. Wade, which had for 50 years guaranteed a constitutional right to reproductive rights – leaving laws up to individual states.

The Singer appeared on MSNBC’s “The Beat With Ari Melber” last week where she talked about the importance of speaking out and taking actions like donating to grassroots organizations.

“We have a dollar from each ticket [on Bridgers’ tour] going to the Mariposa Fund, which is an abortion fund based in Santa Fe. There’s all kinds of things that we can do, but I hate that the responsibility has been thrown on these grassroots organisations instead of the government.”
