Fans can expect episodes of the upcoming highly anticipated 4th season of the Netflix sci-fi series stranger things to be much longer than what they may be used to. The Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer recently revealed that there will be episodes that will be double in length then previous seasons.
“I don’t think [Stranger Things 4 has] an episode clocking in under an hour,” Matt said during an interview with Deadline. “Even in Season 1, there were episodes that were like 35 minutes. You kind of forget that. This season, they’re very long, so I think it’s almost double the length of any season. So that’s one reason it’s taken so long. It does have this sort of epic quality to it. It’s a different feel, for sure.”
The trailer for the upcoming season was released last week and has quickly become one of the most viewed for Netflix. Fans have been waiting quite a while for the new season which had its share of setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic which halted production. Season 4 will be released in two sections with volume one being released May 27th in volume two being released on July 1st.
