Sky Brown, the 12-year-old skateboarding sensation who is Britain’s youngest Olympian going into the upcoming Tokyo games that were postponed earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been honored with her very own Barbie.

“Having a Barbie created in my likeness is one of the most incredible things that’s ever happened to me. I hope other girls my age can see what is possible when you follow your dreams.” Brown said.
The release of the Barbie is part of the company recognizing female role models in sports. In an effort to close the Dream Gap which is the time when girls begin to doubt that they are able to achieve anything.
