Peyton Elizabeth Lee voices Prue McKeel, a Portland teenager who follows a murder of crows into the forbidden forest beyond her home after they kidnap her baby brother Mac. With classmate Curtis (Jacob Tremblay) at her side, Prue is pulled into a brewing war among talking animals, bandits and Alexandra (Carey Mulligan), a grieving ruler dabbling in dark magic. Travis Knight directs Laika's stop-motion adaptation of the Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis novel, the studio's longest feature and its first rated PG-13.
