Sydney Agudong Joins the Cast of Disney’s Live-Action ‘Lilo & Stitch’

Recent reports suggest that actress and singer Sydney Agudong has been cast as Nani in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of the animated classic, ‘Lilo & Stitch’, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 22-year-old will portray Nani, the older sister and guardian of the film’s protagonist, Lilo.

‘Lilo & Stitch’ narrates the story of an unlikely friendship between Lilo, a lonely girl from Hawaii, and Stitch, an alien experiment engineered for chaos. Through their bond, they explore themes of family, love, and acceptance.

The live-action version of the film is penned by screenwriter Chris Kekaniokalani Bright, with Dean Fleischer Camp set to direct. The cast includes Aladdin’s Billy Magnussen, Zach Galifianakis, and newcomer Maia Kealoha, who has been cast as Lilo. However, Disney has yet to release an official statement confirming these casting choices.
