In an emotional Instagram post, renowned Christian artist Rebecca St. James candidly shared how deeply moved she was by actress Kirrilee Berger’s portrayal of her younger self in the upcoming film “Unsung Hero.”

St. James wrote:

“So incredible to watch the wonderful Kirrilee Berger play myself in Unsung Hero! Watching her film the final scene (this is an onstage shot from that day) brought me to tears. Not many people get to see someone who looks almost EXACTLY like them play their younger self…I’m so thankful I got to witness such a moment in time. And thankful for this powerful movie that I know will touch hearts profoundly with the power of God when it comes out in April!”

She expressed profound appreciation for Berger authentically reenacting her story.

In response, Berger shared:
