‘The Thundermans Return’ Coming to Paramount+ and Nickelodeon In March 2024

‘The Thundermans Return’, an Original movie featuring the iconic Nickelodeon superhero family, now has an official premiere window. The film will debut globally in March 2024 on Nickelodeon channels and on Paramount+ in all markets where the streaming service is available.

The first teaser trailer premiered today at CCXP during a panel discussion with The Thundermans stars Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo. In the movie, the Thunderman family is sent back to their suburban hometown of Hiddenville after three years of fighting crime in Metroburg City.

Original cast members reprising their roles include Kira Kosarin as Phoebe Thunderman, Jack Griffo as Max Thunderman, Addison Riecke as Nora Thunderman, Diego Velazquez as Billy Thunderman, Maya Le Clark as Chloe Thunderman, Chris Tallman as Hank Thunderman, and Rosa Blasi as Barb Thunderman.

Creator and executive producer Jed Spingarn returns to write and helm the movie. Director Trevor Kirschner, known for his work on The Thundermans and other Nickelodeon series, will direct. Kosarin also joins the production team as an executive producer, alongside Spingarn, Kirschner and Griffo.

The announcement comes on the heels of The Thundermans experiencing a streaming resurgence in 2021, becoming the top streamed title for kids aged 6-11 across all platforms. Its continued popularity with young viewers played a role in greenlighting this new original film.

For five years and four seasons, The Thundermans ranked as cable’s number one live-action series with Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11. Fans now eagerly await the comeback of their favorite superhero family in ‘The Thundermans Return’, slated for March 2024.
