Mckenna Grace, who captivated audiences with her performance in “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” is now set to star in the forthcoming thriller, “Anniversary.” The narrative revolves around a close-knit family being disrupted by a new movement called “The Change,” which is sweeping the U.S.
This project marks a new collaboration between Lionsgate and Fifth Season. The companies are also considering the possibility of producing a series of films together.
“Anniversary” will be directed by Jan Komasa, the acclaimed Polish director known for his Oscar-nominated film “Corpus Christi.” The screenplay is penned by Lori Rosene-Gambino, who crafted the story alongside Komasa.
Lauren Bixby from Lionsgate, in cooperation with Fifth Season, will oversee the project. Christopher Davis has managed the negotiation of deals on behalf of Lionsgate.
Graham Taylor and Chris Rice of Fifth Season have expressed their enthusiasm about the new project, praising the gripping and emotionally charged script of “Anniversary.” They also recognized Jan Komasa as the ideal filmmaker to bring this compelling story to life. With the incredible talent of Mckenna Grace on board, anticipation for the film is high.
