Prepare to embark on a journey of self-discovery and love with Kitty Song Covey, played by Anna Cathcart, in Netflix’s new spinoff series ‘XO, Kitty’. Inspired by the widely popular ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ franchise, the 10-episode series follows Kitty as she sets out on her own adventure, eager to create her unique story.

Jenny Han, the author of ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ and executive producer for the film franchise, has crafted this young adult series, collaborating with Sascha Rothchild as co-showrunner.

In the recently unveiled trailer, we see Kitty yearning to move halfway across the world to be with her long-distance boyfriend Dae (played by Minyeong Choi) at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS). However, Kitty soon comes to understand that her journey is about much more than just romance.

Kitty’s desire for new experiences and her own adventure is evident when she says, “This isn’t all about a boy. I’m ready to start experiencing new things. I want my own adventure.” The school’s connection to her late mother further fuels Kitty’s determination to create cherished memories filled with laughter, tears, and complex relationships.

The series sees the return of John Corbett as Kitty’s father, Dan Covey, and Sarayu Blue as Dan’s partner, Trina. The talented cast also includes Gia Kim (Yuri), Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), Anthony Keyvan (Q), Peter Thurnwald (Alex), Yunjin Kim (Jina), Michael K Lee (Professor Lee), Jocelyn Shelfo (Madison), and Regan Aliyah (Juliana).
