Millie Bobby Brown is Ready to Move On from Stranger Things

Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven in 'Stranger Things season 4

Since its premiere in 2016, Stranger Things has become one of the most popular shows on Netflix, thanks in part to its talented cast. One of the stars of the show, Millie Bobby Brown, has been a part of the series from the very beginning, playing the enigmatic character Eleven. However, after five seasons, the actress is ready to move on from the show that made her a household name.

In a recent interview with Seventeen, Millie shared that she’s grateful for the experience of working on Stranger Things, but she’s ready to close this chapter of her life and move on to new projects.

“I’m definitely ready to wrap up,” she said. “I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up.”

For Millie, moving on from Stranger Things means focusing on other projects that are important to her. “I’m able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture,” she said. “But I’m really grateful [for the show].”

While some fans have speculated that Millie could appear in the future season of The White Lotus, the actress didn’t rule out the possibility, saying, “I mean, I would never say no to that. I’ve done my fair share of shows, I’m ready.”

In the meantime, fans can look forward to seeing Millie in two upcoming Netflix movies: Damsel, which is set to be released in October, and The Electric State, which just wrapped filming.

It’s always bittersweet when a beloved show comes to an end, but we’re excited to see what’s next for Millie Bobby Brown as she continues to pursue her passion for acting and storytelling. Whatever she chooses to do next, we know she’ll bring the same talent and dedication that made her such a standout on Stranger Things.
