The upcoming episode sees Ellie struggling to help Joel recover from his stab wound while encountering David, a preacher and leader of a group of survivors. Tensions rise as Ellie distrusts the rest of the survivors, who are concerned about bringing another person into their community. The episode also sees the return of Troy Baker, the original voice and motion-capture actor of Joel, as David’s second-in-command, James.
