A 1985 Kate Bush Song Has Hit Number 1 Thanks To The Latest Season of ‘Stranger Things’

A 1985 song by Kate Bush has charted number one on iTunes thanks to the track being featured in the new season of ‘Stranger Things.’ The song titled “Running up the hill (a deal with God).” is featured throughout volume one of season four of the hit Netflix sci-fi series being closely associated with the character of Max played by Sadie Sink. The song is featured prominently in episode 4. The season of the series has been split into two volumes with the first volume being released on May 27 and the second volume being released later this summer on July 1. ‘Stranger Things’ is known for reviving interest in many pop culture aspects and music of the 1980s. The entire series itself is a love letter to the decade. Season four is set in 1986 and features the principal characters on spring break as they once again have to deal with all the strange happenings in the fictional Hawkins Indiana.

The song’s audio has already been used in numerous TikTok posts by fans of the series as they show their love for the new season.
