GAC Media President Has Big Plans For This Year – Shares Optimistic Vision For Family-Friendly Networks
Bill Abbott, the president and CEO of GAC Media has shared some details about upcoming programming for GAC Family and GAC Living. In a new interview with Broadcasting + Cable, the former head of Hallmark Channel is very optimistic ahead of this year’s upcoming holiday season. Talking mostly about advertisers and how the networks would pitch to them, Bill Abbott is confident in his direction for the television networks.
“We’re certainly selling family-friendly content and quality original movies with talent that people love and resonate with viewers,” he said. “We’ve had a lot more time to prepare and market and do all the things necessary to drive a much bigger audience. We feel really good about where we will be in the fourth quarter.”
Last week, GAC Media announced an agreement with Candace Cameron Bure, who is a fixture of family-friendly content which will see the actress and producer help curate content for GAC Family and GAC Living. This will include a Thanksgiving holiday special confirmed for this year.
GAC Media will also soon offer an ad-supported streaming service called Great American Adventures.
