Following the release of her debut single “Stopped Buying Diamonds” earlier today, Music artist Yde has just dropped the official music video.
The former Nickelodeon and Netflix star takes a bold step in this new direction as she goes full force into music. With a song that sarcastically refuses to apologize for her generation which has been leading the way on social justice and environmental issues among others calling for change and going up against the “normal” in society.
The song is a sharp contrast to what longtime fans of Yde might be used to, but the message is clear. This generation is all about change and Yde reflects this in the song lyrically and by her transformation as she moves forward focusing on her music.
Yde sums it up in the song with the lyric “we’ll take the blame”
