During an interview with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees Friday morning, “Today” co-anchor Hoda Kotb couldn’t hold back her emotions any longer representing the stress and anxiety so many are dealing with as the world continues to battle COVID-19.

Brees had announced a $5 million commitment to the state of Louisiana to help “our communities get through this tough time,” Kotb broke down in tears while attempting to segue to another story.
