Brennley Brown Lends Voice To New Netflix Animated Series “Dragons: Rescue Riders”

Singer Brennley Brown who gained national attention thanks to her appearance on the NBC music competition series The Voice will be lending her voice to a new Netflix series from Dreamworks Animation. Dragons: Rescue Riders follows twins Dak and Leyla, who were raised by dragons and thus have a unique ability to communicate with them. They lead a team of five young dragons who rescue other dragons and help people in the town of Huttsgalor. Franchise veteran Jack Thomas executive produces, Brian K. Roberts is a co-ep and TJ Sullivan directs. It’s due to premiere later this year.

Brennley shared in an Instagram post on Thursday. “@dreamworksanimation Dragon Rescue Riders (part of the Dreamworks How to train your Dragon franchise) will be premiering on @netflix this fall. It’s been almost four years in the making. The entirely new chapter focuses on twins Dak and Leyla(me) who were raised by dragons and can communicate with them. I can’t wait for you all to meet her and experience the amazing adventures that take place. ”
