The official trailer for the upcoming sequel to the 1986 motion picture Top Gun has been released. Actor Tom Cruise unveiled the trailer for Top Gun: Maverick during an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday. The movie is set for release in 2020.
In the trailer which you can watch below, it is revealed that Tom Cruise’s character Pete “Maverick” Mitchell will serve as the new flight instructor of the Top Gun school, and is seen wearing his iconic Ray-Ban sunglasses as he faces off against a new modern enemy drones.
