Pop singer Tori Kelly took home the award for best gospel performance/song at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards. The singer who released a gospel album won the award for her performance with gospel music legend Kirk Franklin. In her acceptance speech, she thanked Kirk Franklin who also produced the gospel album which is titled “Hiding Place”.

Tori and gospel music legend Kirk Franklin (who she worked on the album with) recently appeared on CBS’ The Late Late Show to perform the track “Never Alone”. Singer Tori Kelly has released the official music video for Psalm 42. Part of an upcoming project titled Hiding Place which features many inspirational songs available this Friday, September 14. Kelly who has achieved great success as a mainstream pop artist is a devout believer in Jesus Christ and has never shied away from sharing her faith when the opportunity arises. The latest song is an inspiring take on the Bible passage Psalm 42 which in part reads:
As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?
My tears have been my food
day and night,
while people say to me all day long,
“Where is your God?”
