Millie Bobby Brown recently did some press where the 14-year-old “Stranger Things” star discussed her new role with UNICEF. Millie is the youngest Goodwill Ambassador.
Millie took the stage as part of World Children’s Day on Tuesday afternoon (November 20) at the UN headquarters in New York City.
In the video below Millie talks about her motivation for partnering with the organization.
“It’s important to me not only because I’m a child myself but because I’ve always had a love for helping others and I don’t want to just use my platform for doing my normal day job, I want to extend that and be part of a beautiful family. Fortunately, that is UNICEF,” Millie explained.
She added, “I want to raise issues about education, ending bullying, ending violence and making sure children have a safe environment and clean water.”
