CBS – God Friended Me – Malik Yoba Guest Stars as Terrance, Miles’ Uncle

On this Sunday’s episode of the hit CBS series, ‘God Friended Me’ the ‘God’ account unfriends Miles after he’s reluctant to act on the latest friend suggestion, a young woman who is dealing with emotional trauma following the death of her sister. Also, Cara reconnects with her ex-boyfriend, Eli (Kyle Harris); Jaya (Shazi Raja) stuns Rakesh with some news; and Arthur is uncomfortable when Miles turns to his Uncle Terrance (Malik Yoba) for advice instead of him, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Oct. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

CLIP: ‘God Friended Me’ To Highlight Bible Scripture Matthew 6:21 This Week

The popular CBS series God Friended Me will continue to incorporate Biblical truths in this week’s episode. The faith-based series has quickly become a Sunday night staple for CBS as families tune in to see how the ‘God account’ will impact Miles’ and those he encounters.

Matthew 621” – The “God” account sends Miles the profile of a lawyer who died six months ago, leading him, Cara and Rakesh to dig into the man’s past in order to figure out who exactly they’re supposed to help. Also, Miles asks Nia (Victoria Janicki) on a date; Rakesh and Lucy (Abby Awe), his hacker friend, continue searching for the person behind the “God” account; and Ali encourages Arthur to play his saxophone publicly for the first time since his wife died, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Nov. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The episode highlights the scripture of Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

First Look at The New CBS Series “God Friended Me” Premiering September 30th

God Friended Me – CBS

This September, a new and uplifting television series premieres on CBS.  GOD FRIENDED ME is about an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from God, and unwittingly becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him.

This is an inspirational show about hope, faith, and a question we’ve all asked ourselves – what’s my purpose in this world – how can I be of service to others and be an agent of good?

The new series was created by Bryant Wynbrandt and Steven Lilien, the producing team behind some of tv’s biggest hits including, GOTHAM, HAWAII FIVE-O, and ALCATRAZ.  It stars Joe Morton (Justice League, The Good Wife), Violet Beane (The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow), Suraj Sharma (Life of Pi, Homeland) and newcomer Brandon Micheal Hall.  The series premieres on Sunday, September 30 on CBS Television.
