Paramore Releases Music Video For “Rose-Colored Boy”

Last Updated on

If you’re a Paramore fan then your day is about to get a whole lot better because the beloved trio released the 4th music video from their 5th studio album “After Laughter” and this time it’s for the single rose-colored boy. In the video, the band is depicted as news anchors. Hayley (current events) Zac (Sports) and Taylor (weather) on a morning talk show called “Wake up Roseville. Throughout the video, Hayley could be seen dealing with eternal issues but she put on a smile just to get through the day. At one point the music in the video completely stops and Paramore’s frontwoman has a Moment of clarity when she’s confronted by a younger version of herself and it hits her that she hasn’t been true to herself.

Hayley is even bombarded with moments where she tells the viewers to just smile even though she’s been dealing with hardships in her own life

It’s in that moment where she realizes she can’t keep putting on this facade. By this point, Hayley breaks down completely and goes into full Rockstar mode with the rest of the band.

As longtime Paramore fans, we personally believe that this is the bands best video to date in their 13+ your career. The message of the video is something that most people can relate to because at one point or another we have all faked a smile

We think that it’s extremely Brave of the band to be so open about their struggles in hopes that it reaches more people and that they to get the help that they need.

The video that was directed by Waren Fu has only been out on the band’s official YouTube a little over an hour and has already reached over 25,000 views. If you haven’t seen it already please do yourself a favor and give it a watch.

Writing is my passion. Sometimes I don't have a filter when it comes to options but most people say that's a good think so yay! When I get into TV shows I become super invested. I'm like a fan girl that loves to ship things but I promise there is a logic behind my madness. TV shows I enjoy watching range from Big Brother, to the fosters or Faking it to law and order svu. Bottom line if it's interesting with some drama then it's for me. If you like honest opinions and a good laugh then I think you'll like what I have to stay.
